Nkolika "Nicky" Anosike was born on February 27th, 1986 to parents
Ngozi Anosike and Benjamin Anosike who immigrated from Anambra State,
Nigeria in 1978. The couple would go on to have 8 children together. Nneoma, Rotanna, Ikenna, Ifesinachi, Anulika, Nkolika, Oderah, and Ejimofor.

Ngozi Anosike completed junior high school before leaving for America...she was accepted into John Jay High School in Brooklyn, NY where she received her GED in 1981 despite
already having 3 small children. Ngozi would later go on to receive her Associate Degree of Nursing from Borough Manhattan Community College where she graduated in 2000.

Many of Ngozi's children would later go on to follow her into the
medical field. Nneoma graduated with a Bachelor degree of Nursing in 2000, Rotanna is in her 4th year of residency to become a Obstetrician and Gynecologist, Ifesinachi  graduated with a Bachelors in Nursing in 2007, and Anulika  graduated with a Bachelor's of Nursing in 2006.

Nkolika also known as "Nicky"  graduated Valedictorian of Sacred Heart School, and went on to St. Peter's High School for girls where she was accepted into the scholars program. After being heavily recruited by the top colleges Nicky decided to attend University of Tennessee where she won 2 National Championships before getting drafted into the WNBA by the Minnesota Lynx. During her second season she became and All-Star before getting traded to the Washington Mystics where she currently plays.
